Job description
The Vice President, Wealth Management Alternative Capital Markets Client Solutions role within Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management is based in Dubai and serves as a central strategic and relationship management hub for the GS Wealth Alternatives platform. The role supports an expanding segment within Wealth Management and provides expert-level insights and support to advisors and clients across alternative investments. The position is embedded within the Alternative Capital Markets (ACM) Client Solutions team, which acts as the relationship management and strategy arm for the GS Wealth Alternatives platform, covering private equity, growth and venture capital, private credit, private real estate, hedge funds, co-investments, and impact private investing. The role supports marketing and fundraising initiatives, portfolio construction guidance, asset class education, performance updates, and ongoing relationship management across the GS Private Wealth Management channel. The incumbent partners closely with ACM investor relations, legal and compliance teams, GS CIO, GS investment teams, and external managers, while contributing to thought leadership, market commentary, and the delivery of differentiated alternative investment solutions to high net worth, ultra-high net worth, institutional, and family office clients.

Key responsibilities
- Act as the key liaison for advisor teams to support and drive growth across the GS Wealth alternatives business
- Serve as an alternative investment strategist and relationship manager for the Alternative Capital Markets platform, supporting education and adoption within the GS Private Wealth Management channel
- Lead and support marketing and fundraising campaigns, including managing fundraising activity, developing marketing collateral and strategy pitches, and organizing roadshows, events, and campaigns
- Provide input into ACM sales strategy across client segments and advise on growth strategies for new alternative investment offerings and solutions
- Support client portfolio reviews by providing performance updates, fund commentary, and investment insights
- Prepare and update internal and external presentation materials in partnership with ACM investor relations and legal and compliance teams
- Provide portfolio construction guidance and participate in client and prospect discussions as a subject matter expert in alternative investments
- Drive education on alternative investment themes and portfolio implementation by coordinating with ACM, GS CIO, GS investment teams, and external managers
- Support holistic relationship management across advisors and clients within the Wealth Alternatives platform
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelors Degree or higher qualification
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of financial markets and investment instruments with specific experience in alternative investments
- Have at least 7 years of experience in wealth management, asset management, banking, markets, or private investing
- Possess strong quantitative and analytical capabilities relevant to alternative investment analysis and portfolio construction
- Be able to support fundraising, portfolio review, and client engagement activities within an alternative investments platform
