Job description
Every business entity in the Ghobash Group runs on a shared Oracle ERP landscape, and this Manager, IT Applications in Dubai is accountable for keeping it stable, secure and improving. The Oracle ERP application support team reports to you, and other enterprise application support teams fall under your secondary oversight. Projects range from new company roll-outs and module implementations to upgrades, patching and third-party integrations through middleware, APIs and EDI. Enhancement and change requests are prioritised and delivered with proper testing and approvals, and critical incidents escalate to you under agreed SLAs. Segregation of duties, access controls and audit requirements must hold across the Oracle environment. Building in-house capability is a priority, so techno-functional consultants are mentored to deliver more work without relying on external partners. Oracle, system integrators and implementation partners are managed directly, along with the Oracle support and project budget. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or engineering and 8 to 12 years of techno-functional Oracle ERP experience across modules such as Finance, SCM, Procurement and HR, including leading teams that deliver Oracle projects.
