Job description
The Finance Executive will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations of The First Collection Marina Hotel. The position encompasses handling accounts receivable and payable, reconciling various financial statements, ensuring accurate postings of revenue, and supporting financial reporting and audits. The role is essential in maintaining financial accuracy, adhering to statutory regulations, and ensuring all records are kept in compliance with hotel policies. Working closely with cross-functional departments, the Finance Executive ensures timely processing of invoices, supports budget and forecast preparation, and helps drive financial integrity across the propertyâs operations.

Key responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
- Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable processes accurately and on time
- Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and credit card transactions
- Monitor revenue postings and conduct night audit checks as required
- Support month-end closing activities including journal entries and accruals
- Maintain financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and support
- Coordinate with other departments for timely submission of invoices and supporting documents
- Ensure compliance with hotel financial policies and relevant local accounting regulations
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Monitor petty cash disbursements and maintain proper records
- Provide financial data and analysis to support operational decisions
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a finance role, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Familiarity with hotel PMS and accounting systems such as Opera, Sun, SAP, or Oracle
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
