Job description
The Senior Specialist, Account Planning (Grade P6) at Omantel Head Office is responsible for developing and managing strategic account plans for business customers to support sales growth across connectivity and ICT portfolios. The role leads periodic updates of account plans aligned to sector priorities and organizational growth objectives, supports formulation and execution of commercial and sales strategies by identifying growth areas, new acquisition, and cross-sell/upsell opportunities, and monitors and analyzes KPIs across ICT and connectivity portfolios to ensure achievement of sales targets. The position designs, develops, and manages reports and dashboardsâusing Power BI, Tableau, or other toolsâto visualize sales trends, customer behavior, and pipeline health for internal stakeholders, and leverages data analytics to deliver actionable insights that support strategic planning, sector reviews, and leadership decision-making. Responsibilities include planning customer meetings, executive visits, and engagement activities in collaboration with Sector Managers and Sales Leads via CRM+ or other tools; overseeing accurate and timely CRM and planning platform updates to maintain visibility of opportunities and interactions; acting as a liaison between account planning, sales, product planning, marketing, CEX, billing and collection, and technical teams to ensure feasibility and support of strategic plans; preparing and presenting strategic insights, account reviews, and planning progress to BU management and executive leadership; and maintaining high-quality documentation of account plans, sales initiatives, and customer roadmaps in line with internal governance and audit requirements. Minimum role requirements include a Bachelorâs Degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 6 years of experience in the same field, with core skills in planning, business planning, and sales operations.

- Plan and coordinate customer meetings, executive visits, and engagement activities with Sector Managers and Sales Leads using CRM+ and other tools
- Oversee accuracy and timeliness of updates in CRM systems and planning platforms to maintain visibility of opportunities and interactions
- Liaise across account planning, sales, product planning, marketing, CEX, billing and collection, and technical teams to ensure feasibility and support of strategic plans
- Prepare and present strategic insights, account reviews, and planning progress to BU management and executive leadership
- Maintain governance-compliant documentation of account plans, sales initiatives, and customer roadmaps in line with audit requirements
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelorâs Degree in a relevant field (Business preferred)
- Bring a minimum of 6 years of experience in the same field
- Demonstrate skills in planning, business planning, and sales operations
- Show proficiency in KPI management, performance reporting, and data-driven decision support
- Be capable of developing and managing dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools
- Possess experience with CRM systems (including CRM+) and planning platforms for opportunity and interaction tracking
- Demonstrate ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product planning, marketing, CEX, billing and collection, and technical teams
- Exhibit strong executive reporting and presentation capabilities with adherence to governance and audit documentation standards
