Job description
The Assistant Relationship Manager – Trading & Manufacturing role is responsible for supporting the booking of quality assets by offering credit solutions and credit enhancements for allocated individual clients and portfolios within the Trading & Manufacturing segment. The position focuses on enhancing service delivery and business development efforts of the Trading & Manufacturing section by assisting in the preparation and preliminary assessment of credit applications, conducting account performance reviews, and supporting acquisition and retention of customers. The role involves arranging optimal financial solutions for clients, resolving customer issues and queries, and ensuring compliance with internal banking policies, procedures, and Qatar Central Bank (QCB) guidelines. The job holder is required to assist in managing client portfolios, supporting credit evaluation processes, and contributing to business growth by identifying opportunities for credit solutions and financial structuring. The role also includes monitoring account performance, assisting with customer onboarding, maintaining relationships within the Trading & Manufacturing sector, and supporting the implementation of financial solutions tailored to client needs. The position requires adherence to internal policies and procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance with QCB guidelines, and contributing to service delivery improvements while supporting the relationship management team in achieving business objectives.

Key responsibilities
- Assist in booking quality assets by offering credit solutions and credit enhancements for allocated individual clients and portfolio of clients within the Trading & Manufacturing segment
- Support preparation and preliminary assessment of credit applications in accordance with internal policies, procedures, and QCB guidelines
- Assist in acquisition and retention of customers by supporting relationship management and business development initiatives within Trading & Manufacturing section
- Conduct account performance review and monitor portfolio performance to support credit quality and business growth
- Arrange optimal financial solutions tailored to customer requirements and portfolio objectives
- Resolve customer issues and queries in coordination with internal teams and ensure timely service delivery
- Assist in managing allocated portfolio of clients and support relationship management activities
- Ensure adherence to internal banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements including QCB guidelines
Experience & skills
- Support credit solutions and credit enhancements within Trading & Manufacturing corporate banking portfolios
- Apply knowledge of credit application preparation and preliminary credit assessment processes
- Assist in customer acquisition and retention within corporate banking environments
- Conduct account performance review and portfolio monitoring activities
- Follow internal banking policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Ensure adherence to Qatar Central Bank (QCB) guidelines in all client-related activities
