Job description
The Senior Analyst, Business Continuity plays a critical role in ensuring ADNOC Onshoreās operations remain resilient in the face of potential disruptions. This position is responsible for implementing and supporting the Business Continuity Management (BCM) Program across various Assets and Functions. The role ensures that strategic, support, and operational levels of the BCM framework are properly aligned and executed. The incumbent will act as a subject matter expert for BCM planning, supporting Business Continuity Focal Points and Working Groups in the development and maintenance of business continuity plans. The role includes conducting business impact analyses, building response frameworks, raising awareness, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and UAE/international standards.

Key responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all BCM-related activities for assigned operational and support departments.
- Liaise with department heads and stakeholders to gather critical information for the development of business continuity strategies and plans.
- Conduct and lead Business Impact Analysis (BIA) workshops to identify critical business functions, potential vulnerabilities, and recovery requirements.
- Support the creation, review, and update of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), ensuring they are relevant, compliant, and aligned with corporate standards.
- Spread awareness and train relevant personnel on the three levels of BCM: Strategic, Support, and Operational, emphasizing their interconnectivity.
- Guide and assist the Business Continuity Focal Points (BCFPs) and Business Continuity Working Groups (BCWGs) in the preparation and implementation of BCM-related documentation and exercises.
- Align plans and recommendations with ADNOC Group policies, UAE regulatory guidelines, and international best practices such as ISO 22301.
- Monitor the effectiveness and readiness of business continuity arrangements through regular plan testing, audits, and assessments.
- Collaborate with the Crisis Management and Emergency Response teams to ensure cohesive and integrated risk response strategies.
- Provide reports and dashboards to senior management on the status of business continuity capabilities across assets.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the BCM program by identifying process gaps and implementing corrective actions.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās Degree in Business Administration or related field such as Risk Management, Emergency Planning, or Engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in Business Continuity Management, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Demonstrated experience in crisis management, business resilience planning, and conducting BIAs.
- Strong understanding of BCM frameworks, policies, and their practical applications.
- Familiarity with UAE national business continuity regulations, ADNOC policies, and international standards (e.g., ISO 22301).
- Proficient in developing recovery strategies, conducting tabletop or simulation exercises, and writing continuity plans.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for conducting awareness programs and stakeholder engagement.
- High-level analytical, organizational, and report writing abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple assets/functions and coordinate effectively across various departments.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office and BCM-related tools.
