Job description
The Career Development Specialist at Aramco will join the Career Counseling Group under the Career Development Division to provide thought leadership, counseling, and training across the organization. The role involves delivering confidential career guidance, developing career practitioners, conducting workshops, and partnering with business lines to localize and implement career services. The specialist will ensure alignment of individual development plans with corporate goals, facilitate career management sessions, and maintain accurate records for reporting and monitoring purposes.

Key responsibilities
- Provide confidential, multi-mode career counseling for graduates and experienced professionals.
- Develop relationships with line organizations to co-create career interventions that support business goals.
- Plan, design, and facilitate career and talent development sessions.
- Support employees, supervisors, and mentors in creating and aligning individual development plans.
- Liaise with HR Professionals and Admin Area Representatives to advise on development and competency issues.
- Report on career counseling services to identify opportunities for alignment with corporate goals.
- Maintain accurate records of career counseling activities and services.
- Conduct continuous research on learning and development practices and technologies.
- Deliver and facilitate training sessions for internal stakeholders.
- Build familiarity with career assessment tools and resources to support employees.
Experience & skills
- Master’s degree in Education, Career Guidance, Counseling, Human Resources Management, or related fields.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in training/personnel functions, including 3–5 years in career development.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Experience in Career Development, Career Counseling, or Coaching.
- Capability to conduct training needs analysis and execute development plans.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to consult, coach, counsel, and present.
- Experience delivering and facilitating training sessions.
- Experience with industry research to identify relevant practices and technologies.
- Familiarity with career assessment tools and resources.
