Job description
The Hotel Manager role at Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain is a senior leadership position within an ultra-luxury hospitality environment, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and coordination of the hotel through Department Heads including Front Office, Housekeeping, Spa & Health Club, Food & Beverage, and Culinary. The role focuses on directing operational needs in compliance with the hotelās Annual Budget and 5 Year Strategic Plan, supporting the preparation of the annual Operations Budget, and achieving profit objectives. The position plays a lead role in yield management across Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Spa, ensures accurate monthly financial outlooks, and contributes to redevelopment and capital projects from an operations perspective. The Hotel Manager is accountable for implementing and delivering all Raffles Standards, managing guest concerns and follow-ups, supporting labor management and productivity levels, and fostering a strong culture of Health and Safety and accident prevention. The role also involves acting as a culture leader, serving as a key member of the Hotel Executive Committee, supporting Senior Managers and the Executive Team, leading change management initiatives for Rooms and Food & Beverage, and assuming General Manager responsibilities in their absence within the context of a luxury private pool villa resort offering 78 villas with private pools and jacuzzis.

Key responsibilities
- Ensure smooth operation and coordination of the hotel through Front Office, Housekeeping, Spa & Health Club, Food & Beverage, and Culinary department heads
- Direct operational activities to ensure compliance with the Annual Budget and 5 Year Strategic Plan
- Provide coaching, leadership development, and goal setting for hotel department heads
- Assist in preparing the annual Operations Budget and achieve defined profit objectives
- Ensure accurate achievement of monthly financial outlooks for Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Spa
- Lead yield management initiatives across Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Spa
- Support redevelopment and capital projects from an operational viewpoint
- Ensure implementation and delivery of all Raffles Standards
- Handle guest concerns, follow up on guest comments, and resolve complaints or requests
- Assist in labor management and maintain productivity levels
- Provide leadership in Health and Safety culture and accident prevention initiatives
- Act as hotel champion and culture leader within hotel committees
- Serve as a key member of the Hotel Executive Committee and Leadership Team
- Lead change management initiatives for Rooms and Food & Beverage operations
- Assume General Manager responsibilities during absence
Experience & skills
- Have extensive operations management experience in Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Spa operations
- Demonstrate clear knowledge of budget planning and execution
- Hold a post secondary diploma or degree in hospitality
- Show a proven record of coordinating multiple departments to achieve targeted GOP, EES, and Health and Safety results
- Be comfortable working evenings, weekends, holidays, and varied schedules
