Job description
Software products and processes only run efficiently when the automation behind them is designed, programmed, simulated and tested properly, and that is the purpose of this Dubai position with Wipro. Work begins with understanding the current technology architecture, system interdependencies and application stacks, then formulating project plans for approval. Test Automation is the mandatory skill here, applied across functional, regression and performance testing for Agile delivery teams. Alongside building test plans and test cases, you maintain an automation framework used horizontally across technology stacks, with reusable libraries for each business line vertical. Defects, resolutions and bug fixes are tracked into a database of successful mitigation techniques, and key metrics are reported to confirm full coverage of functional and non-functional requirements. Continuous deployment practices also benefit from your input, through new strategies, formalised processes and tooling developed with the development team. Business Subject Matter Experts help define what gets automated, and acceptance criteria for user stories feed a test automation backlog. Some backend/database programming for key projects is part of the mix as well. Expect to bring 5-8 years of experience and the discipline to document everything to WIPRO guidelines and deploy with zero disruption.
