Job description
Leads the Amyloidosis business within AstraZeneca Saudi Arabia, driving strategy and execution across key accounts in the Jeddah territory. Develops a deep understanding of the ATTR patient journey and collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams, Decision Making Units, and key stakeholders to identify business opportunities, ensure brand accessibility, and maximize impact on patient outcomes. Implements territory account plans aligned with global and brand strategies, engaging HCPs and other stakeholders through education and awareness initiatives. Monitors market dynamics, formulary approvals, and competitive activity to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and optimize the business. Ensures adherence to AstraZeneca's corporate policies, ethical standards, and industry regulations while fostering cross-functional collaboration to deliver sustainable growth. Utilizes scientific, clinical, and technical knowledge to support patient access, disease education, and the successful execution of sales and marketing plans.

Key responsibilities
- Develop deep understanding of ATTR patient journey, account stakeholders, and territory opportunities
- Implement Amyloidosis account management strategy in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Engage HCPs and educate stakeholders on disease impact, product benefits, and patient care pathways
- Collaborate with CFT to ensure product availability and accelerate patient access
- Develop and execute territory account plans aligned with brand strategy and company objectives
- Monitor market data, competitive activity, and patient access to optimize business performance
- Identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders
- Drive execution of brand tactical plans, ensuring successful product penetration and patient access
- Support new product launches and access initiatives in coordination with medico-marketing teams
- Establish performance metrics, track progress, and adjust plans to meet business goals
- Manage stock availability and oversee end-to-end prescribing processes in key institutes
- Participate in key projects and strategic initiatives as required by cross-functional teams
- Ensure all actions comply with AstraZeneca code of ethics, corporate policies, and local legislation
- Report adverse events, safety incidents, and conflicts of interest in a timely and accurate manner
Experience & skills
- Bachelorβs degree in science or pharmaceutical-related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty care business, rare diseases, neuro or cardio domains preferred
- Proven track record in account management, achieving sales objectives, and navigating complex clinical ecosystems
- Strong scientific knowledge in disease areas and product mechanisms of action
- Experience in new product launches and formulary approval processes
- Excellent account, project management, and customer-facing skills
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and convey complex clinical and business information
- Demonstrated ability to build long-term relationships with healthcare stakeholders
- Experience collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams to achieve business and patient outcomes
- Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Results-oriented with ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives effectively
- Preferred: Saudi National, experience in specialty pharmacy, reimbursement pathways, or patient services
