Job description
Turnarounds worth $5M to $50M at SATORP, SASREF and the Jubail Industrial Gases Hub (JIGH) are the core of this Lead Planner's work for Blue Hydrogen Industrial Gases (BHIG) through Air Products in Jubail. Brownfield plant improvement projects from $25K to $5M run alongside. Reporting to the Project Controls Manager in the Operation Project Management Team, you will keep equipment integrity and plant reliability at the lowest sustainable cost. Work packages bring together scope, drawings and P&IDs, safety requirements, material take-offs, BOMs and quality and inspection requirements, validated through site surveys. Critical path control, resource-loaded schedules and manpower and equipment histograms are built in Primavera P6 or MS Project. Materials must be procured and on site before execution, and contractor mobilisation and logistics need coordinating. Safety sits above everything, with HAZOP, SIMOPS and risk assessments built into planning and BHIG's zero-injury objective in view. Budgets, cost estimates and post-turnaround lessons learned keep each cycle improving, while EPC contractors are held to budget and schedule. Candidates bring 8 to 12 years in industrial gases, oil and gas or petrochemicals, an engineering degree, turnaround or brownfield project experience and Arabic and English communication skills, with SAP experience preferred.
