Job description
The Director â Human Capital Business Partner at Space42 serves as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, aligning human capital strategies with business goals across a global AI-powered SpaceTech organization that integrates satellite communications, geospatial analytics, and artificial intelligence. The role drives a high-performance culture by leading workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design, as well as enabling organizational growth through talent management, leadership development, and future capability alignment. Responsibilities include driving talent acquisition strategies for critical roles, leading employee engagement initiatives, performance management programs, and career development pathways. The position provides expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, organizational change, and leadership coaching, and works closely with Centers of Excellence in Compensation & Benefits, Talent Development, and HR Operations to deliver integrated HR solutions. The role requires analyzing HR metrics and workforce data to inform decisions, identifying trends and risks, ensuring full compliance with UAE labor laws and internal governance, leading change management and cultural transformation efforts, and acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders to promote effective people leadership aligned with the companyâs mission of redefining the global SpaceTech landscape.

- Partner with executive leadership to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives aligned with business objectives
- Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design across business units
- Drive talent acquisition strategies for critical roles aligned with future capability needs
- Champion employee engagement, performance management, and career development programs
- Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, organizational change, and leadership coaching
- Collaborate with COEs in Compensation & Benefits, Talent Development, and HR Operations to deliver integrated HR solutions
- Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to inform decision-making and identify emerging trends or risks
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and internal governance policies
- Lead change management initiatives and support broader cultural transformation efforts
- Act as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders, enhancing their people leadership effectiveness
Experience & skills
- Hold a bachelorâs degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, with a masterâs degree or HR certification preferred
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience with strong emphasis on talent management and workforce planning
- Demonstrate experience partnering with senior executives to drive strategic HR initiatives
- Show expertise in succession planning, organizational design, and leadership development
- Bring proven capabilities in employee engagement, performance management, and talent acquisition strategy
- Apply deep knowledge of UAE labor laws and internal HR governance compliance
- Exhibit advanced skills in HR metrics analysis and data-driven workforce planning
- Demonstrate strong capability in change management and cultural transformation leadership
- Possess strong relationship-building, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills
