Job description
UAE VAT and corporate tax rules shape much of the work in this financial services finance team, and this Senior Accountant position keeps the business compliant with both. Monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements are prepared and analysed here. General ledger work covers reconciliations and journal entries, and payables and receivables are overseen for accuracy and timeliness. Budgets and forecasts are developed and monitored, alongside cash flow forecasting and treasury tasks. SAP or Oracle handles transactions and reporting. Internal and external audits are coordinated, with recommendations put into practice and internal controls strengthened. Colleagues across the business rely on your numbers to make financial decisions. This position is open to UAE nationals with 3 to 5 years of progressive UAE accounting experience and fluent English.
