Job description
The Director - Private Banking Front Office role is responsible for managing and developing a personal portfolio of High Net Worth and Super High Net Worth clients by delivering personalized private banking services to maximize profitable contribution for both the client and the bank while retaining long-term client loyalty. The role focuses on enhancing private banking sales and revenues through cross-selling a broad range of banking products and services, including investments, term deposits, CASA balances, Treasury and Capital Markets products, foreign exchange trading, share financing, trade finance, mortgage solutions, and corporate finance offerings. The position requires sourcing new Super High Net Worth clients through referrals, marketing activities, and personal networks, ensuring clients are fully aware of financial services available across multiple banking departments. The role emphasizes safeguarding the bank from potential financial loss, AML risks, and reputational damage by maintaining strict ethical and professional conduct, while enhancing the bank’s market profile and awareness within the private banking segment.

- Manage and grow a portfolio of High Net Worth and Super High Net Worth clients through personalized private banking services
- Optimize the value of the client base by delivering private banking products and identifying new client acquisition opportunities
- Source new Super High Net Worth and new-to-bank clients through referrals, marketing activities, and personal contacts
- Structure and provide investment and financial advice aligned with individual client needs and objectives
- Cross-sell a wide range of banking products including investments, term deposits, CASA balances, TCM, FX trading, share financing, trade finance, mortgages, and corporate finance solutions
- Partner with internal banking professionals across departments to service client needs and maximize bank revenues
- Achieve revenue, sales, and portfolio growth targets while maximizing profitability and managing competitive pressures
- Maintain proactive and regular client contact to deliver a superior customer service experience and minimize attrition
- Safeguard the bank from financial loss, AML risks, and unethical behavior throughout the client lifecycle
- Enhance the bank’s market profile and reputation through ethical, professional, and compliant conduct
Experience & skills
- Hold a university degree
- Demonstrate strong numerical capability with solid investment and financial markets knowledge
- Demonstrate relationship management and networking expertise within the private banking or financial services sector
- Demonstrate at least two years of experience in a similar private banking or financial services role within the UAE
- Hold certification from the Securities & Investment Institute (SII) for selling investment products
- Demonstrate ability to acquire and manage High Net Worth and Super High Net Worth client relationships
- Apply strong understanding of AML requirements and ethical standards within private banking environments
