Job description
The Government Relations Specialist at Qiddiya Investment Company is responsible for developing and maintaining effective relationships with government officials and agencies to support the companyâs strategic projects and ensure full regulatory compliance. This includes creating and executing government relations strategies, tracking and analyzing policy and regulatory developments, and submitting necessary documentation such as permits and licenses. The role also involves public engagement, internal coordination to align with regulatory standards, and providing insights through research and reporting. The position requires strong understanding of local government procedures, excellent bilingual communication skills in English and Arabic, and the ability to handle multiple initiatives in a fast-paced setting.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with government officials and local authorities
- Assist in creating and implementing government relations strategies aligned with Qiddiyaâs objectives
- Monitor and interpret local and national legislation, regulations, and policies
- Prepare and submit permit, license, and documentation applications to government bodies
- Conduct research and analysis on government policies and initiatives
- Support preparation of reports, presentations, and materials on government relations outcomes
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure regulatory compliance
- Participate in public engagement activities and represent the company at governmental meetings
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Communications, or related field
- 2â4 years of experience in government relations or public affairs
- Strong knowledge of local government processes, regulations, and community dynamics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency in research, analysis, and problem-solving
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Fluency in English and Arabic is highly desirable
