Job description
The Business Development Manager – Warehouse Automation Systems role is responsible for driving new business development and shaping market entry across the UAE as the primary market, with extended coverage across the GCC including Oman and Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on promoting smart, reliable, and cost-effective warehouse automation solutions that integrate robotics, software, and mechanical systems to optimize storage, movement, and management of goods. Responsibilities include developing and managing a robust sales pipeline, building relationships with clients across industries such as food and beverage, logistics, manufacturing, cold chain, and pharmaceuticals, and representing the company at client meetings and industry events. The role requires close coordination with global headquarters and third-party partners to ensure effective solution delivery and ongoing support, as well as the ability to engage in technical discussions with operations and engineering teams to tailor automation solutions to client needs. The position plays a critical role in establishing and growing the company’s presence in a rapidly expanding automation market in the region.

Key responsibilities
- Drive new business development across the UAE and wider GCC markets including Oman and Saudi Arabia
- Promote and sell warehouse automation solutions tailored to specific client operational requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across food, logistics, manufacturing, cold chain, and pharmaceutical sectors
- Develop, manage, and forecast a structured sales pipeline
- Coordinate with global headquarters and third-party partners to support solution delivery and implementation
- Represent the company at client meetings, presentations, and industry events
- Engage with client operations and engineering teams to discuss technical aspects of automation solutions
- Support market entry strategy and growth initiatives within the region
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate a proven track record selling warehouse automation systems including pallet handling, shuttle systems, conveyors, or WMS/WCS software
- Apply deep understanding of operational requirements within food and beverage, cold chain, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments
- Demonstrate ability to discuss technical automation solutions with engineering and operations stakeholders
- Demonstrate consultative selling skills and experience closing complex B2B deals
- Demonstrate self-starter capability to build market presence from the ground up in a new region
- Arabic language capability is advantageous but not required
