Job description
The Business Manager - Consulting at SAP leads a team of consultants focused on helping customers maximize value from the SAP Business Network. This role blends strategic advisory, operational execution, and customer-centric innovation. The Manager drives adoption strategies, oversees delivery of supplier onboarding, electronic catalog enablement, supplier integration, and adoption initiatives. They build strong stakeholder relationships, ensure high-quality project execution, mentor and coach their team, and continuously improve processes to optimize customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities
- Oversee project progress, customer management, delivery strategy, and execution of SAP Business Network initiatives
- Drive network adoption strategies and engagement with strategic customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful go-lives and long-term customer success
- Identify and proactively resolve project issues, escalating as needed
- Monitor performance against KPIs and objectives, ensuring adherence to best practices
- Maintain accurate reporting, resource planning, and forecast global team capacity
- Collaborate with Sales, Solution Consultants, and Account Executives to support client discussions
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of consultants, developing career growth plans and conducting performance reviews
- Foster a culture of accountability, motivation, and continuous learning
- Ensure customer satisfaction and deliver efficient, strategically sound projects
- Lead root cause analyses for quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Promote innovation and process improvements to enhance service delivery
Experience & skills
- University degree in Business, IT, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in procurement, project management, or consulting
- Proven managerial experience with measurable team performance success
- Experience with SAP Ariba solutions and ERP systems preferred
- Exposure to customers in MENA and Africa a plus
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills
- Strategic thinking with ability to align adoption strategies with business objectives
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with data-driven decision-making
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German is a plus
