Job description
The Sales Executive – Hospitality SaaS (POS/PMS) is responsible for supporting the Middle East sales team of Shiji, a global technology company delivering cloud-based hospitality solutions built on the Shiji Platform. The role focuses on driving sales of SaaS solutions including Infrasys, Daylight PMS, Property Management System (PMS), Point-of-Sale (POS), guest engagement, distribution, payments, and data intelligence solutions to hotels across the specified territory. The Sales Executive monitors the market to identify new opportunities, acquire potential customers and strategic partners, and executes lead generation and lead qualification activities provided by the Sales Manager, Events, Partners and Dealers. Responsibilities include communicating and engaging with customers via phone and email through both warm and cold calling, arranging meetings, securing agreement signatures, building strong customer relationships, scheduling qualified appointments, delivering product demonstrations, and tracking projects through to successful completion. The role requires creating proposals, maintaining customer data, monitoring order processing, utilizing CRM tools to track and evaluate leads within the pipeline, performing sales reporting and Reporting & Analytics activities, and independently managing administrative tasks. Working closely with the Sales Manager and cross-functional teams, the Sales Executive contributes to implementing the regional sales strategy within a fast-paced hospitality technology SaaS environment serving over 91,000 hotels worldwide.

Key responsibilities
- Monitor the hospitality technology market to identify new business opportunities, acquire potential customers and strategic partners, execute lead generation and lead qualification activities, and contribute to the implementation of the regional sales strategy within the Middle East territory
- Engage customers through warm and cold calling via phone and email, arrange meetings, secure agreement signatures, schedule qualified appointments, and build strong customer relationships to drive successful SaaS sales performance
- Present and demonstrate SaaS solutions including Infrasys, Daylight PMS, Property Management System (PMS) and Point-of-Sale (POS) products, articulate value propositions, and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through successful project completion
- Create and submit commercial proposals, maintain accurate customer data, monitor order processing activities, and ensure proper documentation and follow-up throughout the sales pipeline
- Utilize CRM tools to track and evaluate leads, manage pipeline management activities, perform sales reporting and Reporting & Analytics, and independently handle administrative tasks to ensure accurate forecasting and performance monitoring
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager and cross-functional teams to align on targets, support events and partner initiatives, adapt to new technologies and procedures, and ensure customer-focused execution in a multi-tasked and fast-paced environment
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate 2-3 years of experience in handling a similar sales role within hospitality technology, SaaS sales, POS/PMS solutions or related environments, with proven exposure to Property Management System (PMS) and Point-of-Sale (POS) solutions as an advantage
- Possess hospitality business background with operational experience in Meetings and Events and groups operations considered an add-on, and demonstrate understanding of hotel workflows and SaaS solution applications
- Exhibit proficiency in CRM tools, MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel, with experience in Reporting & Analytics, proposal creation, pipeline management and order processing within a structured sales environment
- Demonstrate strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills, ability to conduct cold calling, handle objections, adapt quickly to new technologies, products and procedures, and thrive in a multi-tasked and fast-paced environment
- Maintain fluent English and Arabic language proficiency with additional languages considered an add-on, and show willingness to travel when required to support regional sales activities
