Job description
Cisco is hiring a Distribution Account Manager to join its Channel Sales team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for managing and developing distributor partnerships to drive Cisco's growth across its enterprise, commercial, and public sector segments. The Distribution Account Manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to execute business plans, deliver sales targets, implement partner enablement programs, and expand Ciscoās reach within the open channel and SMB space. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in channel sales, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and a passion for building strategic partnerships that drive measurable outcomes.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Drive the strategic growth of assigned distributors in alignment with Ciscoās development plans
- Develop and monitor annual business plans that include sales initiatives, incentives, and training programs for distributors
- Identify GTM (go-to-market) gaps and formulate strategies to enhance Ciscoās presence in velocity and open channel segments
- Act as the central point of contact for daily distributor account management
- Manage and report on forecasts and pipeline activities on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Facilitate sales and technical readiness by conducting training sessions and sales enablement programs
- Execute and oversee marketing and market development activities with distribution partners
- Communicate channel programs and promotions effectively to distributor sales teams
- Plan, track, and manage distribution profitability programs to ensure target achievement
- Establish multi-level relationships within Cisco and distributor organizations to support mutual growth
- Lead the development of distributor-led initiatives aimed at SMB and open channel sectors
- Analyze distribution and channel data to support daily operations and strategic planning
- Develop and optimize marketing activity plans, ensuring ROI-driven execution
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 5 years experience in channel sales or account management in the technology industry
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing sales strategies and account plans
- Proven ability to engage and maintain relationships with senior-level stakeholders, including C-suite
- Strong presentation and communication skills for both internal and external audiences
- In-depth knowledge of the channel ecosystem in Saudi Arabia, including VARs and distributors
- Based in Saudi Arabia with fluency in Arabic
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills with experience using CRM and reporting tools
- Collaborative mindset and ability to operate effectively within a matrixed global organization
