Job description
The Head of Sales – Payment Technology (Processing) is responsible for driving revenue, strategy, team leadership, enterprise and partner sales, operational excellence, and market expansion for a fintech-driven payment technology company in Dubai. The role includes owning overall revenue targets across all business units and verticals, developing GTM strategies for enterprise and channel partners, forecasting revenue through disciplined pipeline management, hiring, coaching, and leading high-performing sales teams, and establishing KPIs and operating rhythms. The position requires leading major enterprise deals, managing relationships with PSPs and C-level stakeholders, driving consistent CRM and funnel management, collaborating with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, applying scalable sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, and driving geographic expansion into Southeast Asia and South Asia. The successful candidate must have experience selling into Crypto, FOREX trading, and internet verticals and leverage a network across PSPs and enterprise platforms.

Key responsibilities
- Own overall revenue targets across all business units and verticals
- Develop and implement a clear go-to-market strategy for enterprise customers and channel partners
- Identify and prioritise high-value verticals, designing customised sales approaches and value propositions
- Forecast revenue accurately through disciplined pipeline management and data-driven decisions
- Hire, coach, and lead a team of sales managers and account executives
- Establish KPIs and operating rhythms, including weekly check-ins, monthly reviews, and quarterly business reviews
- Hold weekly pipeline reviews and deal strategy sessions, and conduct quarterly business reviews connecting performance and development to OKRs
- Lead major enterprise deals from discovery to closing, including solution shaping, negotiation, and commercials
- Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships with PSPs and introducing agents
- Expand relationships with C-level stakeholders, regulators, and key ecosystem players
- Develop a consistent sales engine with CRM discipline, win-loss analysis, and funnel definitions
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align go-to-market priorities, pricing, and client needs
- Adopt scalable sales methodologies such as MEDDIC tailored to the business
- Drive geographic expansion across priority markets in Southeast Asia and South Asia
- Evaluate new customer segments, refine value propositions, and feedback market insights into product development and risk management
Experience & skills
- The candidate must have over 10 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in payments, fintech, SaaS, or financial services with exposure to multi-country operations
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding ambitious revenue targets with a structured, repeatable sales process
- Proven expertise in managing complex enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, including merchants, platforms, and PSPs
- Strong experience in selling to specialized verticals, particularly Crypto, Forex Trading, and Internet-focused businesses
- Deep understanding of payment technology, cross-border settlement processes, regulatory compliance requirements, and digital platform integrations
- Proficiency in pipeline and CRM management, including analyzing sales performance metrics, win-loss ratios, and forecasting accuracy
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team, including mentoring managers and account executives
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage with C-level executives, regulators, and strategic partners
- Experience driving market expansion, identifying high-value verticals, and tailoring GTM strategies to regional and global markets
