Job description
Warehouse performance at ADNOC HQ feeds into Group Commercial Operations & Execution, and this Abu Dhabi position works closely with the SVP and division heads in that function. Efficiency, cost and safety are the three measures that matter most. Performance metrics are analysed regularly, with action plans built around whatever falls short. Best practice in inventory management, order fulfilment, and shipping and receiving is yours to lead, alongside the strategies and procedures that govern warehouse operations. Supervisors and staff need training on safety and operating procedures, and you will design those programmes. The operations budget also sits with this role, along with inspections of facilities and equipment and corrective action on regulatory and safety compliance. Outside the company, vendors, suppliers, government officials and other ADNOC affiliated companies are regular contacts, especially on contracts and inter-company material transfers. New technologies are brought in when industry trends justify them. Ten years in warehouse operations, with at least 8 in leadership, is the baseline.
