Job description
Global Private Banking clients at FAB depend on sound investment research, and this Executive Director in Abu Dhabi produces the analysis and recommendations behind their investment decisions. Coverage spans equity and fixed income, with macroeconomic, market, sector and company-specific research feeding country reports, investment notes and market commentaries. Financial statements, earnings, valuation metrics and industry trends are analysed closely, and geopolitical events are tracked for their effect on opportunities. Investment committee meetings rely on your materials, and you present views, market updates and recommendations to the relevant forums. Portfolio construction and the review of investment strategies draw on your work as well. Governance carries real weight, since research must follow internal policy and CMA/SCA requirements and be documented for audits and inspections. Material risks and conflicts are escalated through the proper channels. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or business with at least 3 years in financial analysis, or a diploma with 8 years, or 3 years plus a designation such as CFA, CIP, CQF or Accredited Financial Analyst. CMA/SCA accreditation must be held and maintained throughout employment.
