Job description
The QA Manager role is a senior-level quality assurance leadership position within a leading IT organization in Dubai focused on large-scale digital transformation programs, particularly within the airline industry. The role is responsible for managing end-to-end QA delivery across functional, non-functional, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities. The QA Manager oversees testing across web, mobile, API, middleware, and interface layers, ensuring system quality across complex airline systems such as Passenger Service Systems (PSS), reservation systems, ticketing platforms, Departure Control Systems (DCS), check-in systems, and Global Distribution Systems (GDS) including Amadeus. The role requires strong experience in QA lifecycle management, including test planning, execution, defect tracking, reporting, and coordination with Agile release teams. The position also involves leading and mentoring QA teams, ensuring high-quality delivery across digital transformation initiatives, and collaborating closely with business and IT stakeholders. The QA Manager uses tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira to manage test activities and ensure traceability and quality control across releases. The role requires strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment between technical and business requirements in fast-paced transformation environments.

Experience & skills
- 10–12 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA)
- Experience managing QA for large digital transformation programs
- Strong experience in airline systems including PSS, reservations, ticketing, DCS, check-in, and GDS (Amadeus)
- Hands-on experience with functional, non-functional, and UAT testing
- Experience in web, mobile, API, middleware, and interface testing
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps and Jira
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to mentor QA teams and manage full testing lifecycle
- Fluency in English and Arabic (mandatory)
