Job description
Security Operations Coordinator responsible for coordinating and supporting day-to-day physical security operations across bank branches, headquarters, and back-office locations within a UAE banking environment. The role ensures continuous security coverage through effective management of alarm systems, access control systems, CCTV infrastructure, guard force deployment, and incident response procedures. The position is responsible for maintaining operational readiness and ensuring compliance with bank security policies, RCSA (Risk and Control Self-Assessment) frameworks, UAE regulatory requirements, and law enforcement standards including police and CID approvals. Duties include coordination of alarm system renewals, access updates, security system maintenance schedules, and vendor management for guarding services and technical maintenance contracts. The role involves monitoring guard performance, tracking KPIs and KRIs, ensuring preventive maintenance execution, and maintaining accurate security MIS reporting for management review. The Security Operations Coordinator supports incident reporting, emergency response coordination, and escalation of security risks to senior management. Additionally, the role ensures compliance documentation is maintained for audits, supports risk mitigation initiatives, and assists in business continuity requirements. The position also contributes to cost optimization initiatives, site inspections, and continuous improvement of physical security operations across all organizational locations.

Key responsibilities
- Coordinate daily physical security operations across branches, HQ, and back-office locations ensuring continuous protection and operational readiness
- Assist branches during off-hours, weekends, and holidays by responding to security incidents and operational requirements
- Monitor and support alarm systems including renewals, user updates, and integration with police/CID approval processes
- Coordinate access control system updates, maintenance schedules, and preventive maintenance activities across all bank facilities
- Manage guard force deployment, rotation schedules, and performance monitoring in line with security policies
- Track vendor performance through KPIs and ensure compliance with contracted security service standards
- Coordinate incident response activities, maintain security incident logs, and ensure timely escalation to management
- Support compliance with RCSA controls, regulatory requirements, and internal audit documentation
- Maintain and prepare monthly MIS reports covering security operations, incidents, and system maintenance activities
- Conduct site inspections of branches and back-office locations and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders
- Support cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiency improvements within physical security operations
Experience & skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in security operations or physical security coordination roles
- Knowledge of physical security systems including CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems
- Experience in vendor coordination and guard force management
- Understanding of incident management and emergency response procedures
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and RCSA frameworks in banking or corporate environments
- Ability to manage MIS reporting, KPIs, and KRIs for security operations
- Experience coordinating preventive maintenance and security system upkeep
- Strong understanding of UAE security regulatory requirements and police/CID approval processes
