Job description
The Manager β Constructions role at Agility Logistics Parks in Jeddah, Makkah Province, Saudi Arabia, is an on-site position responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing construction projects within logistics parks and industrial developments. The Construction Manager is accountable for the full construction lifecycle, from project conception through completion, ensuring projects are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner. Core responsibilities include budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of construction projects, as well as overseeing both onsite and offsite construction activities to ensure compliance with building regulations, safety regulations, relevant rules, and quality standards. The role requires expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and construction techniques, along with familiarity with construction management software packages. The Construction Manager coordinates construction workers and subcontractors, selects tools, materials, and equipment, tracks inventory, negotiates contract terms, drafts contracts, and obtains required permits and licenses. The position involves daily review of work progress, preparation of internal and external job status reports, proactive problem prevention and resolution, and comprehensive risk analysis, management, and mitigation. The role ensures adherence to contractual performance conditions while maintaining strict cost, time, and quality controls across all construction activities.

- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception through completion while ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
- Review construction projects in depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs accurately
- Oversee all onsite and offsite construction activities to ensure compliance with building regulations and safety standards
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors across multiple project phases
- Select tools, materials, and equipment and track construction inventory throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure contractual conditions of performance are met across all construction contracts
- Review construction work progress on a daily basis and address deviations promptly
- Prepare and deliver internal and external reports related to job status and project performance
- Plan proactively to prevent construction issues and resolve emerging problems effectively
- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft construction contracts, and obtain required permits and licenses
- Analyze, manage, and mitigate construction and project-related risks
- Ensure quality construction standards and the application of proper construction techniques across all works
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelorβs Degree in Engineering
- Be certified by the Saudi Society of Engineers
- Have a minimum of 10 years of project management experience, including experience with major contractors
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of engineering principles applicable to construction projects
- Possess good knowledge of construction safety processes and procedures
- Demonstrate proven project management capability including cost, time, and quality control
- Show familiarity with construction management software packages
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of building products, construction details, relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
