Job description
The FP&A Manager (Real Estate Contracting) role at Al-Futtaim Private Company LLC is responsible for driving financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and reporting for regional operations within the Contracting division. Based in Dubai, the role supports senior leadership through data-driven financial insights, preparation of budgets, forecasts, and management information system reporting. The position involves compiling monthly Flash Performance Reports at SBU and Sub-SBU levels, preparing monthly and quarterly Financial & Business Review packs for senior leadership and Group Finance, managing cash flow uploads into Anaplan, and delivering ad-hoc financial reports. The FP&A Manager engages with business and functional heads to develop annual budgets and three-year financial plans, supports quarterly forecasting aligned with group guidelines, conducts detailed variance and overhead analysis at general ledger level, and provides operational finance support including accounts receivable reporting, manpower cost analysis, cash forecasting, and compliance with Group Reporting requirements. The role operates within a large regional contracting and engineering organization covering construction, MEP, facilities management, energy management, technology infrastructure, and digital transformation across the UAE and wider region.

Key responsibilities
- Extract financial reports from multiple sources and compile monthly Flash Performance Reports at SBU and Sub-SBU levels
- Prepare and support monthly and quarterly Financial & Business Review packs for senior leadership and Group Finance
- Gather collection and payment insights and manage monthly cash flow uploads into Anaplan
- Respond to ad-hoc financial reporting requests from Group Finance and internal management
- Engage with business and functional heads to build the annual budget and three-year financial plan for the contracting business
- Collate quarterly forecasts and ensure alignment with group financial guidelines
- Communicate approved budget and forecast P&L to stakeholders and monitor performance against targets
- Conduct monthly variance analysis by line of business and recommend corrective actions
- Analyze overhead costs at general ledger level and identify anomalies or unbudgeted expenditures
- Develop operational understanding to identify over-spending or under-spending across projects
- Prepare and circulate monthly accounts receivable reports to business leaders and operational teams
- Participate in monthly cash forecast meetings with business and Group treasury teams
- Support HR with manpower cost reporting and financial insights
- Collaborate with Finance teams to meet Group reporting and compliance requirements
Experience & skills
- Hold a professional qualification in Finance or Accounting such as CA, ACCA, or CFA
- Possess 3–5 years of experience in FP&A or a similar financial role, preferably within the contracting industry
- Demonstrate strong working knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Have experience using ERP financial systems such as SAP and BPC
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Possess experience supporting regional operations and cross-functional stakeholders
