Job description
The Associate Relationship Manager in ADCB’s Commercial Banking team is responsible for acquiring new clients, managing relationships, and facilitating commercial banking solutions across a portfolio of UAE-based clients. The role encompasses full commercial banking lifecycle involvement, including onboarding, cross-selling products, and supporting corporate and institutional clients with services ranging from account management to IPO facilitation. The position demands strict adherence to bank policies, procedures, and standard operating practices, with active monitoring and reporting of risk profiles, creation of credit applications, and engagement with approving authorities. The role also includes applying ADCB Service Standards to all internal and external interactions, and self-management in line with people management policies to maximize business performance and contribution.

Key responsibilities
- Acquire new clients, conduct wallet exercises to cross-sell products, and facilitate excellent onboarding experience to achieve targets
- Build and maintain client dossiers capturing current and future needs, advising on solutions, developments, and emerging opportunities
- Obtain reports from support units, prepare credit applications, monitor client risk profiles, and update approving authorities as required
- Adhere to all organisational and departmental policies, processes, SOPs, and instructions to deliver consistent service
- Manage self in line with ADCB people management policies to ensure compliance and optimize contribution to business performance
- Apply ADCB Service Standards to deliver required service levels in all internal and external customer interactions
Experience & skills
- At least 5 years of experience in Commercial or Consumer Banking
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in credit assessment and management
- Good market knowledge relevant to commercial banking
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to manage client relationships and portfolio activities effectively
