Job description
The Senior Specialist – Staff Village Mobility Operations will oversee daily workforce and resident mobility services at the Amaala Staff Village (ASV). The role ensures smooth, timely, and safe transport of staff between the ASV and the AMAALA bus interchange as well as within the village itself via buses and buggies running 24/7. This position involves coordinating transport schedules, managing service quality, handling complaints, monitoring fleet operations, and ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The Senior Specialist will also play a key role in addressing incidents, optimizing resources, and adapting routes to meet operational demands.

Key responsibilities
- Support and coordinate with the line manager during implementation and operations phases.
- Identify and escalate potential risks, issues, and challenges in mobility operations.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager Operations & Fleet to streamline internal and external transportation services.
- Provide leadership during incidents such as accidents, weather disruptions, or roadblocks to ensure business continuity.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), addressing deviations proactively.
- Handle customer complaints in partnership with the Manager and resolve resource shortfalls.
- Conduct audits and quality checks on transportation services, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and high service standards.
- Generate and deliver weekly and monthly reports with operational data, performance insights, and fleet forecasts.
- Collaborate with management to adjust routes and schedules based on daily operational needs.
- Perform additional duties such as vehicle yard work or after-care tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.
- Adhere strictly to shift schedules, including evening, weekend, and holiday work.
Experience & skills
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in operational mobility or fleet management roles.
- High School Diploma required; higher education is an advantage.
- Knowledge of fleet management systems and depot procedures.
- Strong data entry and typing skills with tech-savviness.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred).
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with excellent organizational skills.
- Experience with emergency guidelines and vehicle guidance apps.
- Ability to maintain calm and professionalism in stressful situations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as per shift schedules.
