Projects at DP World move through a full lifecycle under this Manager role, starting with lead generation and bid estimation and running all the way through to handover. You'll participate actively in commercial activity across the department, identifying, researching and targeting new business opportunities as they come up. Coaching, mentoring and evaluating project team members forms a core part of the job, alongside setting clear expectations and overseeing their day to day work. Resource assignment, both human and material, needs careful management across projects and contracts, matched against risk considerations the role also contributes to. Execution runs through subcontractor management, logistics coordination and securing permits and approvals from bodies like Trakhees, DM and landlords. Testing, commissioning and snag closure get coordinated toward the end of each project, with handover packs covering as builts, O&Ms and warranties produced along the way. Budgets, cash flow and margins need constant attention, alongside procurement, technical submittal approvals and accurate, timely invoicing and collection. Client progress meetings and change management get chaired directly, while relationships with customers, suppliers and subcontractors stay strong enough to keep satisfaction high. Safety and quality sit at the center of everything, from site inspections and UAE law compliance to QC and ITP implementation and capturing lessons learned for future projects.
