Job description
Choosing the right projects, funding them wisely and making sure they deliver real value is the purpose of this Program Manager role in FAB's CPMO, covering the CB, PB and Marketing portfolio from FAB Business Park in Abu Dhabi. Business and function CPMO Project Portfolio Managers report to you, and the portfolio itself has to stay aligned with corporate strategy, on time and within budget. Each month you prepare and run the Portfolio Governance Committee, bringing portfolio health, key issues and clear recommendations to executive level. Annual demand, prioritization with the Value & Reporting team and financial reviews with the 360 Value team shape what gets funded. A master resource plan and a master delivery plan, built with the Change and Integration & Governance teams, keep skills, dependencies and timelines visible. Benefits are defined in business cases up front and tracked after go-live, with completed projects handed to Value & Reporting. Executives and delivery teams also look to you for coaching on portfolio thinking and PMO practice. Expect to bring 15 or more years of experience, including 10 in portfolio management and 5 overseeing large programmes in banking IT or a PMO, plus PMP or PRINCE2 and SAFe certification.
