Metrics drive nearly every decision at Amazon, and this Data Analyst role on the ICQA/Learning and Development Analytics Team exists to turn scattered data into clear answers. You create reports from data spread across multiple locations, surfacing root cause insights into quality defects and inventory adjustments. ICQA, Learning and Finance departments all rely on this role for data and analytical support. Data collection processes and data management systems get built and refined as part of the core work. Queries get designed, data gets compiled, and reports get generated in SQL, with charts and graphs supporting how that data gets presented. Dashboards built in Amazon Quicksight support business decision making and detailed trend analysis, while Python-based automation streamlines repetitive analysis tasks. Reports for Weekly Business Review, Quarterly Business Review and Project Updates get prepared and published on a regular cycle. Leadership gets support interpreting data trends, backed by in-depth research into defect trends and clear, digestible standard reporting.
