Job description
The Senior Designer role within Bain & Company's AI, Insights & Solutions (AIS) team in Dubai involves leading end-to-end strategic and service design initiatives for client transformation projects. Designers work across discovery, ideation, design and validation, product launch, and scaling phases, applying design thinking principles to solve business and user problems. The role requires expertise in qualitative research, design facilitation, prototyping, and visual storytelling. Designers collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including management consultants, data scientists, and engineers, to translate customer insights into innovative digital products and services. This position demands fluency in Figma, Miro, Adobe CS, and exposure to GenAI tools, alongside strong communication, client-facing skills, and the ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments. Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory and regional travel up to 40% may be required. Prior consulting experience, cultural familiarity with the Middle East, and additional European languages are considered assets.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the full strategic design process to transform customer insights into growth opportunities
- Conduct qualitative research and synthesize findings into actionable design artifacts
- Co-facilitate ideation workshops and creative sessions with clients and internal teams
- Envision and articulate new business ideas through creative storytelling and prototyping
- Design and run validation experiments and pilots for digital products and services
- Collaborate with project management and cross-functional teams for successful delivery
- Own deliverables and support identification and execution of high-value activities
- Build stakeholder alignment and maintain strong project team collaboration
- Enhance AIS brand visibility through marketing and external engagement
- Support recruitment and mentorship within the design team across EMEA
- Capture and document project learnings to build organizational knowledge
- Contribute to internal initiatives and firm culture within the EMEA AIS team
Experience & skills
- 4–6 years of experience in digital product/service/customer experience design
- Expertise in Human Centred Design, Design Thinking, and Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in strategic/service design, UX/UI, or digital product design
- Experience with tools like Figma, Miro, Webflow, Adobe CS, and GenAI platforms
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Comfort across all phases of the design process from research to prototyping
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Willingness to travel up to 40% across Middle East/EMEA based on client demand
- Experience working on Middle East-based projects with cultural design sensitivity
- Experience in client services or consulting environments
- Understanding of design’s strategic business impact
- Interest in emerging design trends such as GenAI, behavioral design, and immersive experience
