Job description
Responsible for supervising daily security operations within the resort to ensure the safety and protection of guests, employees, and property assets. Leads the security team by coordinating patrol activities, monitoring security systems, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures and company policies. Oversees the operation of security equipment including CCTV, alarm systems, fire protection systems, and key control programs to maintain a secure environment across the resort premises. Investigates incidents such as theft, accidents, or security breaches and prepares accurate documentation and reports. Responds promptly to emergencies including medical incidents, fire hazards, or safety risks while coordinating with internal departments and external authorities when required. Conducts safety inspections, fire drills, and security training programs to ensure preparedness and compliance with safety regulations. Maintains strong communication with management and operational departments to support overall risk management and guest safety initiatives. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations while delivering a safe and secure hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily security operations and monitor the performance of the security team across the resort property
- Enforce security policies, safety procedures, and preventive programs to protect guests, employees, and company assets
- Conduct routine patrols and inspections to ensure the safety and security of resort facilities and surrounding areas
- Investigate and document incidents such as accidents, theft, disturbances, or security breaches with accurate reporting
- Respond quickly to emergencies including medical situations, fire hazards, or security threats while coordinating with emergency services if required
- Manage and monitor security systems including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, access control systems, key management, and fire protection equipment
- Lead fire drills, emergency preparedness training, and safety awareness programs for staff members
- Serve as a liaison with local law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and other emergency authorities
- Maintain security logs, incident reports, and operational records to support compliance and safety audits
- Assist management in developing and improving security strategies, policies, and risk mitigation plans
Experience & skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent education; additional training in security or safety management is preferred
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in security operations with at least some experience in a supervisory role
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotels, resorts, or large facilities security operations is preferred
- Strong knowledge of security procedures, safety regulations, and emergency response protocols
- Experience operating security technologies such as CCTV systems, alarm systems, access control, and fire safety equipment
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to supervise and motivate security personnel
- Strong communication and reporting skills for incident documentation and coordination with management
- Ability to remain calm, decisive, and professional during emergencies or high-pressure situations
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and interact professionally with guests and employees
