Job description
The HR Administrator within edara, under the People & Impact Division, reports to the General Manager - edara and operates at Band C.1 with Job Code 120.054. The role is positioned within edara HR (edara) and is responsible for delivering comprehensive HR and business administration support with no direct reports and no team management responsibility. The mandate includes analysing customer issues, formulating responses, and communicating comprehensively to queries to ensure customers receive complete information in a timely manner. The role maintains strong professional relationships with external and internal customers and HR colleagues to deliver appropriate solutions. It requires actioning decisions made by HR management and administering employee eligibilities and benefits in alignment with HR policies and HR management processes. The HR Administrator handles edara communication of all updates, changes, new initiatives, and new policies through online communication channels including email, workplace, and phone calls. The position manages the insource the outsource project end to end, covering recruitment, communication, onboarding, and joining formalities. It also assists in general administration to ensure edara operations run smoothly, identifies and escalates consistent or recurring problems with systems and processes, and actively participates in solution-finding. The role operates within financial dimensions involving CapEx and OpEx and requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, business administration practices, HR systems awareness, process analysis, customer issue analysis, employee benefits administration, and structured HR operational execution within a telecommunications business context in the United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities
- Analyse customer and employee issues and formulate structured, comprehensive responses to queries, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided to all stakeholders and maintaining strong professional relationships with internal and external customers.
- Implement HR management decisions by administering employee eligibilities, benefits, and entitlements according to established policies, ensuring compliance with HR procedures and operational standards.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate communication, interview coordination, and onboarding, ensuring seamless integration of new hires into edara operations and alignment with company policies and HR standards.
- Oversee insourced and outsourced HR projects, coordinating with multiple teams to manage recruitment, communication, onboarding, and joining formalities, ensuring the timely and efficient completion of all project activities.
- Communicate HR updates, policy changes, and new initiatives effectively through multiple online channels including email, workplace platforms, and phone calls to ensure employees are informed and aligned with organizational expectations.
- Assist in general administration tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of edara, including documentation, reporting, and coordination with relevant departments to maintain operational efficiency.
- Identify recurring challenges and systemic issues within HR processes and systems, escalate them appropriately, and actively participate in solution development to enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and employee satisfaction.
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related specialty from a recognized institution, demonstrating a foundational understanding of HR principles, business administration practices, and organizational operations.
- Possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience in business administration or HR support roles, with proven exposure to end-to-end recruitment, employee onboarding, benefits administration, and HR operations.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to produce reports, presentations, and manage communications efficiently.
- Exhibit strong knowledge of HR policies, HR systems, employee benefits administration, and operational processes to ensure adherence to company guidelines and regulatory compliance.
- Show capability in managing insourced and outsourced projects, coordinating multiple tasks and stakeholders while ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Apply analytical skills to identify process inefficiencies, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities, proactively contributing to solutions and organizational process enhancements.
- Effectively use multiple online communication channels such as email, workplace platforms, and phone calls to convey HR updates, policy changes, and new initiatives to employees, ensuring clear, consistent, and professional messaging.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with internal and external customers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment while supporting organizational goals.
