Job description
Senior Finance Analyst - Managed Services Finance Analyst role within PwC Internal Firm Services (IFS) Managed Services unit, based in Abu Dhabi (noted job location also references Doha). The role is part of PwC’s global professional services network, operating across Assurance, Tax, and Advisory, with Managed Services delivering operational finance solutions to clients. The position focuses on execution of core finance processes including Accounts Payable (A/P), Order to Cash (O2C), and Record to Report (R2R), ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations. Responsibilities include full ownership of accounting and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy of financial statements, managing month-end and quarterly closing processes, processing and reviewing invoices, resolving vendor queries within agreed SLAs, and maintaining exception logs for process tracking and compliance. The role also involves supporting internal audits, ensuring adherence to internal compliance policies, and maintaining operational controls. In Order to Cash processes, the role includes managing cash reconciliation, identifying unidentified cash, resolving discrepancies, handling customer disputes, managing collections activities, and coordinating across departments to ensure resolution of financial issues. The position requires working with ERP systems such as SAP and other finance platforms to perform transactional and analytical tasks. The role emphasizes financial analysis, reconciliation, operational efficiency, SLA compliance, and collaboration across teams to ensure seamless finance operations delivery in a managed services environment within PwC Middle East.

Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable (A/P) processes including invoice review, processing, reconciliation, and resolution of vendor queries while ensuring compliance with internal policies and SLA requirements.
- Execute monthly and quarterly financial closing activities including posting month-end entries, maintaining accounting records, and ensuring accuracy of financial statements.
- Perform financial reconciliations across accounts, maintain exception logs, and ensure resolution of discrepancies in a timely and controlled manner.
- Support Order to Cash (O2C) processes including cash reconciliation, identification of unidentified cash, and resolution of cash office discrepancies.
- Handle customer disputes, collections activities, and communication with clients to resolve outstanding payments and financial queries.
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve invoice issues, payment discrepancies, chargebacks, and credit card settlement problems.
- Utilize ERP systems such as SAP to execute finance transactions, maintain financial records, and support operational finance processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal audit requirements, financial controls, and operational policies while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting.
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate 3–6 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, or managed services environments with exposure to AP, O2C, and R2R processes.
- Apply strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Order to Cash, and Record to Report processes including reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Utilize ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent finance systems to perform transactional processing and financial analysis.
- Perform financial reconciliation and month-end closing activities with accuracy and compliance to accounting standards and internal controls.
- Manage vendor and customer queries effectively while adhering to service level agreements (SLAs) and operational timelines.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills to identify exceptions, resolve discrepancies, and ensure financial data integrity.
- Exhibit strong communication skills in English (Arabic preferred) to coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field, with professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA considered advantageous.
