Job description
Pipelines, piping and equipment built to Saudi Aramco standards need careful materials and corrosion engineering, and this Al Khobar-based senior engineer provides it on operating assets and new projects. Corrosion assessments sit at the centre, ideally supported by specialist software. Deliverables include Corrosion Management Program (CMP) reports, material selection reports, material selection diagrams, coating selection diagrams and corrosion loop diagrams. RBI studies, Corrosion Inspection Manuals and On-Stream Inspection (OSI) diagrams also come under your technical support. Engineering assessments follow codes such as API 579, BS 7910, ASME B31G and DNV RP F101. Integrity reports are reviewed as primary input, including ILI reports and raw data, Fitness for Purpose (FFP) and Recommendations for Repair Reports (RRR), and Direct Assessment reports. Materials scope in TBEs and NMRs gets your review, and other disciplines and client representatives rely on you to resolve technical issues. Junior engineers learn from you, global offices and SMEs provide backup, and site visits are part of the work. Expect to bring 10+ years of experience and an engineering degree.
