Job description
As a Director ā Securities Services at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), you will be responsible for managing key institutional client relationships within the custody and securities services domain. Acting as the service lead for a portfolio of strategic clients, your focus will be on ensuring best-in-class service delivery, strengthening relationships, and supporting revenue growth through new client acquisition. You will collaborate with internal teams in operations, client onboarding, and sales to provide tailored, efficient solutions and enhance the client experience. Your role will also include supporting commercial pitches, tracking pipeline performance, and ensuring smooth transitions for new clients via defined implementation plans.

Key responsibilities
- Act as the day-to-day service director for a portfolio of assigned custody and securities services clients
- Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders to retain and grow business
- Manage client enquiries and support process automation to drive efficiency
- Maintain and execute client service plans and comprehensive stakeholder calling programs
- Collaborate with Operations to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
- Assist the Head of Client Management in acquiring new securities services clients
- Support the development of commercial proposals and sales presentations
- Track and manage sales pipeline performance, ensuring timely deal conversion
- Oversee client onboarding through structured implementation plans
- Stay informed about market regulations and securities services offerings to position value-added solutions
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Business Management or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in securities services or the broader banking sector
- Minimum 3 years in a client-facing role such as relationship management, sales, or custody operations
- In-depth knowledge of custody services and a strong understanding of industry regulations and market practices
- Familiarity with fund administration services is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, including experience with senior-level client interactions
- Proven track record in client retention, revenue generation, and new business acquisition
- Excellent team collaboration, communication, and influencing abilities
