Job description
The Video Editor will be responsible for producing and editing visually compelling video content to support Jazeera Airways’ advertising, branding, and digital engagement efforts. This includes creating promotional films, social media videos, in-flight entertainment segments, and branded content that align with the company’s storytelling and marketing objectives. The role combines technical post-production skills with creative motion graphics, animation, and a strong understanding of brand consistency across multimedia formats.

Key responsibilities
- Produce video ads, promotional films, and branded content for social media, digital campaigns, and in-flight entertainment
- Edit and enhance raw footage, ensuring high production quality with color grading, audio mixing, and special effects
- Develop storyboards and shot lists, ensuring videos align with brand messaging and campaign objectives
- Incorporate motion graphics, 2D/3D animations, and kinetic typography into video content
- Work closely with the motion graphics team to add engaging visual effects
- Ensure animations are optimized for social media, digital ads, and broadcast formats
- Maintain brand visual identity across all video projects, ensuring consistency in tone, style, and messaging
- Collaborate with content, social media, and design teams to develop engaging video narratives
- Research and apply the latest video trends and storytelling techniques to enhance audience engagement
- Operate and manage professional video cameras, lighting setups, and audio equipment
- Work with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and other post-production tools
- Analyze video engagement metrics and optimize content for better audience retention and conversions
- Stay up to date with emerging video technologies, platform-specific requirements, and industry trends
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Digital Arts, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in video production, motion design, or post-production editing
- Strong portfolio showcasing branded video content, motion graphics, and storytelling capabilities
- Experience working with camera equipment, lighting setups, and audio recording tools
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects), DaVinci Resolve, or similar software
