Job description
We are hiring for a Business Development Manager to be responsible for driving and managing Enterprise Backup & Recovery and Storage vendor business and Channel for UAE and Gulf region.

Key responsibilities
- Performing and owning sales and developing assigned Vendor solutions in Gulf region.
- Contributing to the budget process based on growth plan for existing business and incremental business.
- Developing country plans in conjunction with the Vendor in-country resource as per Logicomās expectations.
- Identifying and recruiting new partners to generate incremental revenue.
- Maximizing existing channel and continual development of geographical footprint.
- Meeting, and ideally exceeding assigned budgets targets in terms of revenue, profitability on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Driving and implementing various marketing plans as part of business development activities in the assigned region.
- Maintaining a deep understanding of the product and solutions.
- Regularly travelling to all assigned countries.
- Accurately forecasting and reporting with peers, management and vendors on business, product, territory and technology trends.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree preferably in IT or Business from an accredited university.
- Minimum 5 years of sales management or business development experience with a proven track record of success in an IT distribution environment.
- Direct experience in UAE and Gulf Channel for Backup, Storage or Enterprise software products will be considered an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Enterprise backup, recovery and storage solutions will be considered an advantage.
- Self-directed and highly motivated individual, able to accelerate sales.
- Strong track record of driving new customer acquisition.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with great attention to detail.
- Extremely articulate with strong presentation skills and comfortable presenting in front of senior level customer audiences and influence their decisions.
- Good command on MS Office.
- Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution ability.
