Job description
The Manager RFID & Digital Operations – Emerging Markets Retail is responsible for maximizing the profitability of EM Retail by ensuring that all Adidas Group policies and EM Digital Retail standards are followed and implemented during the rollout of retail initiatives across the region. The role focuses heavily on the implementation and scaling of RFID technology in retail stores while supporting the preparation and implementation of digital tools in retail operations. The position collaborates closely with the EM Retail management team to ensure effective execution of retail priorities, particularly RFID rollout initiatives across markets. The role requires cross-functional cooperation with Store Operations, Hub Retail, Tech teams, Merchandising, Supply Chain Management (SCM), IT, Finance, Business Solutions, Store Development, Human Resources, Retail Training, and Back Office functions across Hub and Cluster organizations. Responsibilities include preparing and managing System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) stages from both project management and hardware management perspectives, piloting RFID initiatives and implementing developed solutions across markets in collaboration with Retail Directors and District Managers. The manager organizes and facilitates meetings to communicate key initiatives, documents operational knowledge for organizational access, and develops learning content and training materials to support operational adoption. The role also drives change management by creating a Master Plan for change initiatives and ensuring successful adoption within the market organization. Operationally, the position manages policy and standards reviews, prepares updated guidelines for markets and districts, and leads digitalization efforts for Back of House (BoH) and Back Office processes. The role identifies and implements process improvement opportunities to enhance operational productivity, develops performance standards and tools based on process innovation and best-in-class digital retail practices, and manages the development and testing of new processes and procedures. The manager supports operational efficiency improvements in BoH functions such as Omni Channel services, delivery processes, and KPI monitoring while collaborating with Process Improvement Front of House (FoH) and Digital teams to build an integrated store ecosystem that aligns BoH and FoH tools, services, and operational workflows. The role also manages ongoing operational improvement requests, resolves issues affecting digital retail operations, and ensures that digital tools and processes support overall store productivity and operational excellence.
