Job description
The Senior Interface Manager – Real Estate & Construction at Turner & Townsend in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, is responsible for managing all interface activities across the project lifecycle, from pre-construction through delivery. The role involves developing and implementing the interface strategy, ensuring coordination between contracts, systems, and stakeholders, and integrating construction, logistics, and security requirements. The incumbent oversees the interface with internal and external stakeholders, provides technical guidance to the interface team, ensures functional coordination of electrical, mechanical, architectural, and structural interfaces, manages physical site security, and drives high-quality project delivery. The role requires collaboration with project directorate, delivery partners, and client departments to implement and refine the interface strategy, manage interface agreements, and address risks and unforeseen issues effectively. The position emphasizes stakeholder negotiation, cross-functional collaboration, and efficient management of technical outputs to achieve project objectives.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement the interface strategy covering the entire project lifecycle, ensuring effective collaboration between contracts, systems, and stakeholders.
- Review and manage the Interface Agreement with the client and implement necessary changes to ensure successful project delivery.
- Consult relevant client departments and external stakeholders during strategy development and project delivery.
- Coordinate project inputs, manage interfaces, and maintain clear communication with all interfacing stakeholders.
- Identify key interfaces, define responsibilities and ownership, and ensure scope clarity across work packages.
- Provide technical guidance to the interface team and coordinate with project teams for works in progress, specifications, construction supervision, and testing.
- Oversee site security operations, including security personnel, CCTV, and other measures.
- Ensure coordination of electrical, mechanical, architectural, and structural interfaces for functional project delivery.
- Provide input into project management processes and procedures, and recommend acceptance of completed works.
- Manage unforeseen risks and issues, ensuring high-quality service delivery and efficient outcomes.
Experience & skills
- 5–10 years post-graduate experience in construction, real estate, or project management environments.
- Minimum Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in engineering, construction, or project management; Level 9 Masters preferred.
- Six Sigma or equivalent certification preferable.
- Proven experience managing interface activities, construction integration, logistics, and security.
- Strong stakeholder negotiation and management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead and create a collaborative culture across project teams.
- Strong problem-solving and issue resolution capabilities.
- Experience coordinating across multiple technical disciplines in large-scale construction projects.
