Job description
The Head of Marketing is responsible for leading the strategic marketing direction across a portfolio of large-scale B2B exhibitions, conferences, and trade shows within the events and exhibitions industry in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive visitor acquisition, delegate registrations, and brand visibility across multiple B2B events. It requires leading integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels, content development, partnerships, media planning, and public relations to maximize event reach, engagement, and commercial performance. The position includes managing and mentoring a marketing team to ensure strong execution, alignment with commercial objectives, and delivery of high-performance marketing outcomes. The role involves close collaboration with sales, production, and conference teams to support sponsorship revenue, exhibition sales, and delegate acquisition targets. Responsibilities also include overseeing brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and market expansion strategies across the event portfolio. The Head of Marketing is expected to track and analyze campaign performance using data-driven approaches, optimize marketing activities for ROI, and continuously improve audience growth strategies. The role requires expertise in modern marketing practices including CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and multi-channel campaign execution, with strong emphasis on delivering measurable results in fast-paced, high-volume B2B event environments. - Develop and execute comprehensive B2B event marketing strategies to drive visitor acquisition, delegate registrations, and brand visibility across a portfolio of exhibitions, conferences, and trade shows
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital marketing, content creation, partnerships, media, and PR channels to maximize event reach and audience engagement
- Manage, mentor, and develop the marketing team while ensuring execution excellence and alignment with overall commercial and revenue objectives
- Collaborate closely with sales, production, and conference teams to support sponsorship sales, exhibition revenue, and delegate acquisition targets
- Oversee brand positioning, messaging strategies, and market expansion initiatives across multiple large-scale events and exhibitions
- Track, analyze, and optimize marketing campaign performance using data-driven insights to improve ROI, audience growth, and engagement outcomes
- Design and implement multi-channel marketing initiatives using CRM platforms and marketing automation tools to enhance campaign effectiveness
- Develop and deliver marketing presentations, reports, and strategic communication materials for internal and external stakeholders
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate at least 2+ years of experience in a marketing management position, preferably within B2B events, exhibitions, conferences, or media environments
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline
- Demonstrate strong understanding of modern marketing strategies including audience acquisition, digital marketing, and integrated campaign execution
- Possess experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and data-driven marketing performance analysis
- Demonstrate proven experience in planning and delivering large-scale, multi-channel marketing campaigns in fast-paced environments
- Demonstrate ability to manage strategic partnerships and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Possess strong communication skills including written content creation, presentation delivery, and stakeholder communication
- Demonstrate leadership and people management experience in guiding and developing marketing teams to achieve high performance
