Job description
The Product Proposition and Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing and driving the Retail Liabilities/Deposits Business and the MG Segment value proposition. This includes ownership of product development, proposition building, digital solutions enhancement, customer acquisition, marketing, portfolio performance, and profitability. The role will focus on strategic planning, improving customer offerings, overseeing digital innovation, managing internal campaigns, and optimizing systems and servicing standards. The candidate is expected to lead initiatives for segment growth, improve onboarding processes, and deliver on liability targets through system and product innovation.

Key responsibilities
- Drive NTB and NTP acquisition for MG segment across digital and other channels
- Lead product development and process improvement initiatives
- Manage client events, promotional campaigns, and internal/external contests
- Enhance the MG proposition to meet P&L, acquisition, and strategic goals
- Develop and implement incentive plans and cross-sell KPIs for sales channels
- Lead MG initiatives and digitization projects including AGILE and automation
- Set up and manage service models for Gold segment, monitoring process and control
- Enhance digital onboarding process and drive product penetration
- Establish and improve referral models and portfolio management strategies
- Generate detailed MIS and conduct analytics for frontline sales guidance
- Track competitor intelligence for strategic decision-making
- Coordinate with system/process teams to meet product and customer needs
- Lead development and enhancement of retail deposit and liability products
- Drive digital deposit solutions and product pricing campaigns
- Support product/process initiatives across retail banking segments
- Own and implement system changes and product enhancements
- Engage partner functions to roll out new products/services aligned with liability strategy
- Continuously enhance process SLAs and TATs to improve service delivery
- Support liability growth targets for banking segments
- Collaborate with digital squads to launch 1 click SOD and ROD products
Experience & skills
- Minimum 10+ years of banking, wealth, and sales experience
- At least 2ā3 years in a similar managerial role
- Digital banking experience preferred
- Strong understanding of wealth propositions
- Proven team leadership and networking abilities
- Advanced analytical skills for identifying revenue opportunities
- Capability to organize and improve service and customer experience
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage internal stakeholders
