Job description
The Assistant Manager Social Media (Qatarization) within QNB â Qatar, Communications Division, Advertising & PR Department, is responsible for all social-media-related publicity of the organization, including creating and posting information to build QNBâs image and reputation and assist in raising the company profile, planning social media campaigns, and developing partnerships with identified high valued Company customers. The role implements departmental policies and procedures setting out the principles, methodology, and techniques to establish an effective presence in social media; assists in developing and executing a clearly defined social media strategy to increase company brand equity and awareness; coordinates with all departments to create regular content that promotes the marketing message or other material that advances the company image; ensures that a consistent marketing message is delivered to social media and that the organizationâs position is strengthened; collaborates, when necessary, with other marketing companies to develop unique marketing strategies and partnerships; conducts regular monitoring of social media to judge market trends; monitors the competition and remains aware of market changes and developments; regularly studies statistics regarding the effectiveness of social media marketing; and develops analytics reports and presents analysis of campaigns and trends to management. The role requires a university graduate with a degree in Business, advertising, marketing, or related discipline; a minimum of 4 yearsâ experience in Marketing and Social Media; good oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred); demonstrated ability to motivate a team and thoroughly follow up on project plans and project implementations; ability to follow through with initiatives; planning and organizing ability; and the ability to work with teams from diverse cultural backgrounds. Experience & skills
- Hold a university degree in Business, advertising, marketing, or a related discipline.
- Possess a minimum of 4 yearsâ experience in Marketing and Social Media.
