Job description
The Relationship Manager β Corporate Banking within the Corporate & Investment Banking Group at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) is responsible for managing corporate client relationships and delivering a comprehensive portfolio of corporate banking services including investment banking, transaction banking, and financial market solutions. The role involves acquiring new corporate clients, managing assigned client portfolios, conducting financial analysis, and preparing credit applications to support profitable business transactions. The position supports clients across multiple sectors including government entities, financial institutions, non-bank financial institutions (NBFI), and large corporates across the MENA region. The role requires maintaining a comprehensive 360-degree client dossier, assessing client risk profiles, conducting client visits, and identifying business opportunities to increase transaction volumes and grow portfolio performance. The position also involves offering value-added banking services, enrolling clients in alternate digital banking channels, and ensuring adherence to banking policies, compliance requirements, and operational procedures. The Relationship Manager collaborates with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver customer service excellence, ensure credit risk management, and contribute to business growth targets while maintaining compliance with corporate governance standards.

Key responsibilities
- Acquire new corporate clients and manage assigned portfolio to achieve revenue targets and profitable business growth
- Conduct financial analysis including balance sheet review and key financial ratio evaluation for credit assessment
- Prepare and submit credit applications ensuring compliance with banking policies and risk frameworks
- Build and maintain 360-degree client dossiers capturing financial performance, risk profile, and business opportunities
- Conduct client visits to assess risk exposure and update approving authorities on risk profile changes
- Offer value-added banking solutions and enroll clients in digital and alternate banking channels
- Manage client onboarding processes ensuring accurate documentation and smooth service delivery
- Ensure compliance with corporate banking policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements
Experience & skills
- Minimum 6 years of experience managing corporate banking client relationships
- Bachelorβs Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Strong knowledge of balance sheet analysis and key financial ratios
- Experience in corporate client acquisition and portfolio management
- Understanding of corporate banking products including transaction banking and financial market solutions
- Experience preparing credit applications and conducting financial analysis
