Job description
The Senior Business Development Manager role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is an onsite, full-time position responsible for identifying and building new client relationships to generate revenue, improve profitability, and drive business growth within the Bayut & dubizzle real estate platforms. The role involves leading client acquisition efforts through networking, competitor and government registration sites, signing up new and lapsed accounts, and ensuring full client advertising commitment. The manager partners with Sales Support to ensure efficient onboarding, provides clients with training to maximize platform tools, continuously monitors client health and quality metrics, manages client expectations, and delivers a high-quality customer experience. The position also involves keeping updated with property laws, local real estate developments, and regularly updating sales reporting dashboards. The role requires strong knowledge of sales processes, excellent communication and negotiation skills, entrepreneurial drive, goal orientation, and ability to exceed performance targets.

Key responsibilities
- Lead business development initiatives to identify and acquire new clients through effective networking, competitor analysis, and government registration sites
- Sign up new clients as well as re-engage expired or cancelled real estate accounts that are not currently subscribed to Bayut and dubizzle property corporate accounts
- Ensure clients’ full advertising commitments to Bayut, dubizzle, and relevant competitors are clearly documented at the time of contract signing
- Partner with Sales Support to ensure efficient completion of client onboarding processes and ensure all necessary documentation is provided prior to submission of signed contracts
- Train new clients to maximize their utilization of Bayut and dubizzle tools, ensure attendance in onboarding programs, and monitor effective usage of subscribed services
- Continuously monitor client health and quality metrics to ensure alignment with management expectations, efficient use of services, and prevention of malpractice
- Communicate proactively with clients to manage expectations and provide excellent customer experience
- Meet or exceed performance targets, track all sales activities, and update reporting dashboards regularly
- Stay informed about property laws, local real estate development news, market trends, and competitor activities to provide clients with accurate advice and support
- Provide mentorship and guidance to colleagues to help develop their understanding of sales processes, client management, and market knowledge
Experience & skills
- Minimum secondary education, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Valid UAE driving licence
- 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in real estate or related fields
- Strong knowledge of sales processes and competence in applying them without guidance
- Solid understanding of business, products/services, market dynamics, and client needs
- Ability to confidently handle client objections, identify real concerns, and negotiate effectively
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer experience consistently
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Flexibility to learn new products and adapt to evolving market requirements
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong drive, goal-oriented, and ambitious to meet and exceed sales quotas
