Strategic Outreach and Visits Specialist within Google’s Government Affairs and Public Policy team based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates responsible for supporting executive engagement, policy advocacy, and strategic outreach initiatives across the EMEA region. The role operates within Google’s global government affairs function, working across regions, product areas, and cross-functional teams to manage campaigns, projects, and initiatives related to technology policy and public affairs. The position focuses on supporting executive messaging and landing critical policy narratives through global and regional convenings, executive meetings, government-hosted events, and Google-hosted engagements to scale reach, impact, and influence among Key Opinion Formers. The role requires planning and executing executive-level visits, managing logistics, preparing materials, and coordinating cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include evaluating requests, assessing Return on Investment (ROI), managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring disciplined execution of executive engagement programs. The Strategic Outreach and Visits Specialist acts as liaison between regional and global teams, supporting progress reporting, resource sharing, and best practice dissemination. The position includes managing schedules, coordinating trip logistics, leading follow-up activities including readouts, impact reporting, thank-you notes, and debriefs to drive continuous improvement. The role also involves developing narratives, case studies, and amplification strategies, supporting Artificial Intelligence tools adoption for material preparation, coordinating compliance requirements including Quorum, and identifying synergies across executive engagements. The role requires experience in policy analysis, technology policy environments, government affairs, and public policy organizations, with exposure to government agencies, think tanks, public interest groups, technology industry groups, or corporate public policy organizations.

Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute executive engagements between Google leadership and government officials across the region while coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Convene stakeholder kickoff calls to define trip objectives, meeting goals, and cross-trip themes for executive visits and outreach initiatives
- Develop and advocate standardized workflows including briefing templates, demonstration resources, and executive preparation materials
- Support engagement team initiatives including policy narratives, case studies, and amplification strategies to expand outreach impact
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, identify synergies across executive engagements, and ensure compliance with requirements including Quorum
- Manage executive schedules, trip logistics, and material preparation while proactively delivering updates to stakeholders
- Lead executive follow-up activities including readouts, impact reporting, thank-you notes, and debriefs to drive continuous improvement
Experience & skills
- Possess Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience with minimum 4 years of experience in policy analysis and campaigns focused on technology issues or policy environments
- Demonstrate minimum 4 years of experience working within government, think tanks, public interest groups, technology industry groups, or corporate public policy organizations
- Demonstrate experience working in scheduling and advance or protocol office supporting elected officials or government agencies including executive visit planning and coordination
- Demonstrate experience planning and executing events, executive engagements, and cross-functional outreach initiatives within public policy or government affairs environments
- Demonstrate knowledge of technology policy environments and experience advocating on technology policy issues across regional or global stakeholders
- Demonstrate ability to identify opportunities, manage evolving priorities, and operate in fast-paced and changing policy environments
- Demonstrate strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills with ability to collaborate across multiple teams simultaneously
- Demonstrate ability to manage executive schedules, logistics, stakeholder communications, and reporting including progress tracking, ROI evaluation, and impact reporting
