Job description
The Relationship Manager – Mashreq Gold within the Retail Banking Group in Dubai Internet City is responsible for managing a portfolio of High Net Worth (HNW) Mashreq Gold clients by delivering personalized financial services to build close relationships, enhance loyalty, and achieve maximum profitable contribution for both the client and the bank. The role focuses on enhancing Mashreq Gold balance sheet sales and revenues, promoting cross-selling and up-selling of banking products and financial services, and sourcing new HNW clients through referrals, marketing activities, and personal networks. The Relationship Manager communicates with clients to identify financial needs, optimizes the value of the client base through delivery of Mashreq Gold products and services, achieves revenue and portfolio growth targets, maximizes profitability while countering competition from alternative investments and wealth management providers, and ensures superior customer service through proactive engagement. The position includes safeguarding the bank from potential loss, AML fraud, and unethical conduct, maintaining proactive client contact, minimizing customer attrition, enhancing market profile and awareness, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements. The role requires strong financial markets knowledge, sales capability, networking skills, CISI certification, and experience within UAE banking or financial services environments.

- Manage a portfolio of High Net Worth (HNW) Mashreq Gold clients by delivering personalized service and maintaining strong client relationships
- Enhance Mashreq Gold balance sheet sales and revenue through cross-selling and up-selling of banking products and financial services
- Source new-to-bank HNW clients through referrals, marketing activities, and personal networking efforts
- Identify client financial needs and recommend appropriate wealth management and retail banking solutions
- Achieve annual and monthly revenue, sales, portfolio growth, and profitability targets
- Maximize profitability from the Gold client base while countering competition from alternative investment and wealth management providers
- Maintain superior customer service experience through proactive engagement and issue resolution to minimize attrition
- Safeguard the bank from potential loss, AML fraud, and ensure ethical behavior during and after sales
- Enhance market profile and awareness of Mashreq Gold products and services
- Maintain continuous and proactive client contact to strengthen loyalty and retention
Experience & skills
- Hold a university degree
- Possess 5-6 years of experience in a similar relationship management role within a UAE bank or financial services institution
- Demonstrate strong selling capability and financial markets knowledge
- Hold CISI certification
- Exhibit strong relationship management, networking, communication, and negotiation skills
- Demonstrate knowledge of AML and fraud prevention requirements
- Show ability to achieve sales, revenue, and portfolio growth targets in a competitive wealth management environment
