Job description
The Assistant Relationship Manager (Outsource) supports the relationship management team in achieving financial and operational targets while assisting in portfolio growth and client engagement across the United Arab Emirates. This role emphasizes serving high-value and elite clients, identifying business opportunities, performing financial assessments, and maintaining compliance with AML and regulatory standards. The incumbent will assist in cross-selling banking products, enhancing customer satisfaction, and reporting portfolio activities to management. The position requires flexibility, collaboration with internal teams, and professional growth through ongoing training and development.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Assist in managing and growing client portfolios, focusing on liabilities, FX, trade transactions, fees, and revenue enhancement
- Support the identification of cross-selling opportunities to increase product penetration and revenue per client
- Participate in regular client visits and communication to strengthen relationships, particularly with elite business banking clients
- Aid in onboarding high-value transactional clients and potential business leads through networking and prospecting
- Assist in conducting financial assessments and analyzing clients' risk tolerance and portfolio performance
- Support compliance and risk monitoring, including AML checks, regulatory adherence, and reviewing client documentation
- Assist in updating client profiles, risk ratings, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with bank policies
- Contribute to reporting on portfolio activities, providing management with insights on achievements, challenges, and recommendations
- Participate in professional development and training programs to stay updated on banking products, services, and industry trends
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in banking or financial services
- Strong knowledge of business banking, trade products, and foreign exchange
- Proficiency in client relationship management and customer service
- Good analytical and financial assessment skills
- Familiarity with compliance, AML, and regulatory frameworks
- Ability to identify and support business growth opportunities
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and reporting skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and locations
