Job description
The Personal Finance – Islamic Finance Executive role is responsible for sourcing and selling Islamic Personal Finance products within the UAE, specifically across Dubai and the Northern Emirates, with a primary focus on achieving or exceeding assigned sales targets. The role centers on ADIB Islamic Personal Finance offerings, including Al Khair and Tadawul products, and requires full adherence to ADIB policies, procedures, and UAE Islamic banking regulations. The executive actively sources business from targeted customer segments by visiting institutions and governmental departments, building and maintaining strong relationships, and closing deals within stipulated turnaround times. The role requires strong product knowledge, execution of Murabaha contracts, preparation and verification of Standard Credit Applications, and authentication of critical documentation such as bank statements, passport copies, and salary certificates before submission to DSPU for processing. The role ensures timely customer service, strict data confidentiality, compliance with office timing and secrecy norms, and coordination with internal stakeholders for approval, activation, and disbursement. The executive monitors approval timelines, escalates delays to RSS, rectifies errors in submitted deals, participates in promotional activities, and supports cross-selling of additional banking products while maintaining awareness of competitors and local market practices.

Key responsibilities
- Source Al Khair and Tadawul Islamic Personal Finance products to the assigned target segment and achieve or exceed assigned sales targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutions and governmental departments to generate personal finance business
- Visit institutions and government entities to meet potential customers and close personal finance deals within ADIB-defined turnaround times
- Maintain full and up-to-date knowledge of Islamic personal finance products and apply product features accurately in all customer interactions
- Deliver timely and prompt service to customers while ensuring high service standards
- Prepare and review Standard Credit Applications ensuring accuracy and authenticity of bank statements, passport copies, salary certificates, and related documents
- Submit complete and error-free finance applications to DSPU and follow approval workflows in line with ADIB policy and procedures
- Execute Murabaha contracts with customers on behalf of ADIB and prepare complete documentation files
- Forward completed Murabaha files for disbursement through coordinators within 24 hours of signing completion
- Monitor file activation status and notify RSS of any delays at RFO level
- Rectify errors in submitted deals promptly to ensure smooth processing
- Maintain strong inter-departmental relationships to support efficient business flow
- Participate in promotional and sales activities assigned by line management
- Initiate cross-selling of other banking products on a best-effort basis
- Escalate customer complaints to supervisory levels when required
- Adhere strictly to office timing, secrecy norms, and data confidentiality requirements
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate broad knowledge of ADIB Retail Banking products and services
- Possess good understanding of Islamic banking practices, Murabaha financing, and UAE banking regulations
- Exhibit fair knowledge of service standards, sales processes, and computer systems
- Maintain general awareness of competitors and local market conditions
